PLTS Skills Ladders from PbyP at Cambridge Education
Cambridge Education has applied its philosophy of Personalisation by Pieces (PbyP) to the Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) framework.
We have sent every secondary school in England a free poster setting out a series of “skills ladders” that demonstrate progression through each of the six skills groups.
Get started with PLTS using the PbyP approach
The PLT resource pack contains ideas, guidance and case studies so that you and your learners can make best use of the skills ladders to really personalise learning and to meet the QCA’s requirements for recording PLTS.

- Practical ways to integrate the PLTS
- A photocopy-free resources pack which includes skills ladders you can copy or use electronically with learners.
- The PbyP framework document to explain the approach.
- A resources CD.
