The PbyP demonstration site

If you have heard about PbyP and are curious as to how learners can peer mentor and peer assess each other when they are in different schools, counties or even countries our demonstration site may be of interest to you. The site enables anyone to login as a learner and try out all the functions on the system.

The best way to see how PbyP works is to login as a learner, submit some work and then send it to yourself so you can also experience receiving work to assess as a learner.(Obviously, learners on the real PbyP site cannot send work to themselves for assessment: the evidence is sent to another user anonymously, chosen by the system.) You can also experience how learners access their skills profiles, targets and receive messages from other learners and their mentor.

Whilst the site gives a demonstration of the way PbyP works and how it is accessed it cannot demonstrate the dynamism of the 'real thing' because it does not contain the thousands of pieces of work submitted and stored by our users. As there is no 'real' work on the site, we are unable to use it to demonstrate the teacher functions. However, to view static screen shots of the teacher functions, please download the teacher guide.
